About Simplemetry
The supplement industry has a credibility problem. Thousands of products compete for attention using the same playbook: cherry-picked studies, before-and-after claims, celebrity endorsements, and proprietary blends that make independent verification impossible. Meanwhile, the supplements with the most solid clinical evidence behind them are often the least marketed — because they're cheap, unpatentable, and hard to differentiate on a shelf.
Simplemetry was built to correct that imbalance.
What we do
We review the clinical evidence for supplements that are relevant to healthy adults — the people who aren't looking for a cure, just trying to understand what the research actually supports. That means reading the trials, not the press releases. It means noting when a meta-analysis is dominated by industry-funded studies. It means recommending against a supplement when the evidence doesn't hold up, even if it's popular.
Our recommendations are organized into tiers based on the strength and breadth of evidence, the size of the population likely to benefit, and the safety profile at recommended doses. We document our methodology in full — including the criteria that would cause us to downgrade or remove a recommendation.
What we are not
We are not a healthcare provider and nothing on this site is medical advice. We are not affiliated with any supplement manufacturer. We are not a laboratory and do not conduct original research — we synthesize and evaluate published clinical evidence.
We do earn affiliate commissions on products linked from this site. The brands that appear in our product recommendations are selected based on quality criteria that are documented publicly on our evaluation methodology page. They do not pay for placement and do not have advance knowledge of whether they will be included.
Who we are
Simplemetry is an independent project. We have no investors with supplement industry ties, no sponsored content, and no advertising relationships.
Why "Simplemetry"
Most people want a simple answer to a complicated question: is this worth taking? Simplemetry is the attempt to give that answer honestly — with the evidence laid out, the caveats stated, and the conflicts of interest disclosed.
